Making A Difference – China Soul and Tammy Ruggles

By narrating this new audio book, David’s daughter, China Soul, has supported an effort aimed at helping young people who are facing personal challenges in their lives.

Summer Doesn’t Dance Anymore was written by Tammy Ruggles, an author who writes free audio books for kids dealing with difficult issues. China recognizes it as a great cause, and so do we.

Very good short story that is also educational. I thought it was very well narrated by China Soul who manages to keep the listener engaged throughout by bringing the story to life.

  2. Robin says:

This was a very well written story. China did an excellent job with it. She put her heart into it. I think they should team up and do more.

  3. Tammy says:

It’s really nice to see the support here for the audiobook. China was very generous with her time and talent. If anyone here works with organizations or directly with those who could benefit from the story, please pass the link along. It’s for teens or older and contains mature content. Nice to read some familiar names here too.

  4. Lori says:

The story was very moving, beautifully written by Tammy. China’s reading of the story had just the right balance of emotion and detachment.

  5. Claire H says:

This is so important that the serious issues like this which young adults face now be brought out into the open to discuss and resolve. I am so glad that China teamed up with Tammy to put a face on these social issues and in particular the one which Tammy discusses in her book in the story of Elle. Very well done China and thani you Tammy for writing this !!
