My name is Alison, I have followed David’s career for 30 years or more. I suggested the Breast Cancer Link for DSF because I wanted to raise awareness of self examination and early diagnosis of the disease. Why? Because I’ve been through it and it can be beaten. I’m 45 with no family history, the main risk factor. My advice is, be aware of your body and if notice you any changes, see your doctor as soon as you can.

Thank you Alison for making us more aware of this dreadful disease, but also for reminding us that one can survive. I have lost two friends to this cancer in the past couple of years. The impact on friends and family is devastating. May you continue to be healthy.
