Lovely to find the web site and read some many stories and kind words. I grew up, like many on here I guess, watching Starsky & Hutch. The memories flood back and it's easy to dwell on this iconic show. I was equally a fan of David's music and love to hear those records that again bring back so many memories.

David's time at the top was brief looking back sadly and we all know that it is harder to continue to be successful in America we new kids on the block. That said, he remains adored by so many not just because of his talent as an actor and musician but he always comes across as a genuinely nice person, always having time for fans and press alike and for that I wish him well. Thanks for all the pleasure you have given David and long may you enjoy life over here in the UK, you will forever be welcome.

I was wondering if David listened to Judy Sill years ago in the 70's? in the early 1980's when I was in my early 20's I used to listen to her Album "Heart Food" I just loved her voice and still do, she was a great folk-pop singer. I just loved her songs: "The Kiss," "Vigilante," "The Pearl," "The Phoenix," "There's A rugged road." If you haven't which I'm sure you did back then you must hear her music. She died in 1979 I still put on her and David's records/CD's and listen to both music.

So awesome to see you're doing great David, Sorry about your mother, my deepest sympathy. Wishing you the best and if you ever hear from Paul I send my best. I know it sounds corny, but you two were great together. That new movie of S&H my kids saw they said it was nothing good like the old ones, I said I don't even need to see it to know, nothing can replace the original, never can never will, it's its own Classic. Hi David, Carla and Laura,

Have just discovered your site and have thoroughly enjoyed searching through it. I've have a hit a bit of a low spot recently and the future seems a grim place at the moment. But the purchase of the Starsky & Hutch complete series box set has allowed me to have a few smiles, even giggles, in the company of some old friends (S&H). The warmth and humanity that emanates from David and Paul's characters due to their great acting and obvious friendship has given me some hope for 2012. Having viewed both David and Paul's sites, I hope to take some of their positive thoughts and find a way forward in the New Year. Thanks for such a great site focussing on such a warm hearted man.

My mother babysat for you back in sioux Falls, SD when you were about 4,5, or 6 years old. I have a couple X-mas cards that your parents sent my parents - her name is Gudrun Herrmann - she was a foreign exchange student from Germany.
